Emraan Hashmi Says, I like comedy which I enjoy & understand

Emraan Hashmi has done it all on the big screen, but now the actor, who is set to feature in humour-laden film “Ghanchakkar”, says he is uncomfortable with “over-the-top” comedy.
“‘Ghanchakkar’ is a comedy with a difference. I’ve seen different kinds of comedies in Bollywood, but I cannot do that kind of comedy. That over-the-top comedy, I don’t even understand it. I don’t even feel like laughing on it. (So) I’m doing a comedy which I enjoy and understand,” said Emraan.
The 33-year-old has be seen opposite his “The Dirty Picture” co-star, Vidya Balan, in the film, directed by Rajkumar Gupta. It is slated to release next year.

Further about the film, he said: “It has suspense, thriller, dark humour and comedy. The way some things are funny in a family atmosphere, that is what has been shown. It’s a very funny film, and I’m sure the audience will like it.”
For now, Emraan Hashmi is gearing up for the release of ‘Raaz 3′, based on black magic. He will be seen alongside Bipasha Basu in the movie, set to hit screens Friday.

Why is the gal vomiting up all this personal dirt now? We think Sherlyn Chopra is trying to go overboard here. Clearly, she’s been getting the attention she hardly deserves, though she herself seems to think otherwise. The 28-year-old knows that her words can create a frenzy and her ‘dirrrrty’ act will be labeled as yet another PR drive to stay in the limelight. To avoid that she quickly adds. “Dear all, let me make it very clear that the intent of sharing the following confessions… is not to create public sympathy OR to raise eyebrows OR to project myself as a ‘bad girl gone good’….itz just to state a few facts.

Ajay Devgan will show Son of Sardaar to ‘SGPC’ today to end controversy

Ajay Devgan’s upcoming production Son Of Sardaar has run into trouble for allegedly portraying the Sikh community in a poor light. And now the 43-year-old actor has decided to take a stand on the issue. Ajay Devgan will be in Amritsar today with his co-actor Sanjay Dutt to meet the SGPC (Shiromani Gurudwara Prabhandak Comitee) officials, Sikh lawyers and members of the All India Sikh Student Federation (AISSF). The two Bollywood actors will also hold a special screening of Son Of Sardaar that has controversial lines such as these:

Agar duniya mein Sardar nahi hote toh kya hota? (What would have happened to the world without Sardars?) Sardar na hote to joke kispe banate? (If Sardars did not exist, what would jokes be made about?) Haramzyada isme pyar hain zyada, teri ma di, teri pen di yeh duniya ko humne sikhayi (We Sardars taught the world these abuses).
The AISSF had approached the Akal Takht to intervene in the matter to ensure that the movie was not released without deletion of the objectionable scenes and dialogues. The Akal Takht had asked SGPC to look into the matter, following which SGPC formed a five-member committee to examine the issue.
Ajay Devgan also issued a statement a few days ago that the film does not hurt anybody’s sentiments and that he has a lot of respect for the community and culture.

The promotions for ‘Raaz 3’ have kickstarted and Bipasha Basu and other cast members are leaving no stones unturned in raising the curiosity quotient for the film. As a part of the promotional strategy, bong beauty Bips was seen handing out nimboo-mirchi to autowallahs in Mumbai this Saturday afternoon. As ‘Raaz 3’ is all about evil, horror and mysteries, it was a unique promotional technique to tie lemons and chillies on auto rickshaws’ dashboards and thus, draw the general public to the theatres.
However, the promotions for the flick turned out to be a horrific experience for Bipasha Basu when, during one such event, the crowd in Ahmedabad got of control and a fan tried to pull her skirt down.Bipasha Basu also injured herself in the process.
However, Bipasha Basu’s (@bipsluvurself) tweet on 29th August has a different story to tell: “So #Raaz3 promotion in Ahmedabad ws awesome.Thank you all fr the crazy amt of love tht we got:) (sic).”
But she did mention about being hurt the next day: “Yes, I did have a nasty fall and hurt my right hand but am absolutely fine now. Little bruising that’s all. Thank you for the concern,” Bipasha had tweeted.
